The Oven to Make Thanksgiving Easy!! LG’s ProBake Double Oven

By  |  2 Comments

With Thanksgiving less than a month away (I know, it’s crazy right?!) I got to thinking about what I was going to make for dinner this year.  I have to admit, this conversation with myself usually ends up with me being stressed out because there’s always so much pressure preparing an important meal like Thanksgiving.   I would say my number 1 stressor is timing.  This is a meal that has so many “must-have” dishes and a good number of said dishes require an oven for cooking and I feel like it literally takes a rocket scientist to figure out how to time everything to be done at the same time.  I wouldn’t know what this is like, because I’ve never been able to accomplish this.  If you have found yourself in the same situation, I think I have found the answer to our problems.  Enter LG’s ProBake Double Convection Oven.

First, let’s talk about the fact that it’s a double oven.  How genius is that?  The ability to have two separate cooking areas in the same oven is wonderful!  It really makes me wonder why one would ever buy a single oven again?

The next feature, which is probably it’s coolest, is the ProBake Convection™  heating technology.  This feature was inspired by pro-style ranges, this LG range moved the heating element from the bottom of the oven to the back wall which makes for optimal heat distribution.  This allows you to cook multiple dishes at once with even results!!   Can we say green bean and sweet potato casserole at the same time!?!

The last thing I want to talk about is the EasyClean® feature.  I hate cleaning my oven.  I even went as far as to line the bottom of my oven with Tin Foil so I don’t have to get in there and scrub it after cooking.  Well now, I can throw the tinfoil away (or save it for for something else…you get the picture)!  The EasyClean® feature allows you to get a clean oven in three easy steps and in only 10 minutes you can get a sparkling clean over without chemicals, high heat or pulling off your best Hansel and Gretel impersonation.  Love it!

Here’s the best part, Best Buy has an amazing Kitchen Bundle Rebate going on through 10/29, where consumers receive a Visa Gift Card valued up to $400 with purchase of a 4 piece Kitchen Package…Or…Receive 5x reward points with your Best Buy account on any ProBake Range purchase from 9/28 – 10/29.  This can also be stacked with the kitchen bundle rebate mentioned above.

I have this oven and have not cooked a big meal in it yet. Can I cook the turkey in the bottom using the convection bake then cook casseroles on top with reg bake at the same time? I am new to a double oven…
