GE Appliances are here just in time for the Holidays

The family and I are moving to Nashville!!  Well, Franklin really…but it’s close enough.  We have found the most lovely home and are super excited to take on this new chapter in our life.  With this new home and new chapter comes the need for a new kitchen. Haha!  We have decided to undergo a complete kitchen remodel, which by the way I feel like may be completely insane considering we are going to do it WHILE living in the home with 2 boys under 3…but here goes!

We have picked out our counter tops, the backsplash, as well as the cabinet colors and but now we are inching closer to figuring out what appliances we want in the home.  Having done some initial research, I have to say I am so impressed how many options there are out there.  The technologically advancements for appliances (and you know I’m going to love those) have gotten so much better over the years,  it’s really pretty remarkable.  So for the next week or so, I am going to do some intense research in to the top brands and break down some of the best brands out there as well as figure out some of their best products.  I figured with the Holidays right around the corner and all the incredible specials you can find online, this would be the best time to stock up on some new kitchen appliances.

First up this week, GE!

GE, Appliances with a Unified Appearance that’s Easy to Mix, Match & Make all your Own!

GE Profile Series appliances are designed to reflect the modern approach to style. Clean lines, minimal curves and a streamlined look that blends with today’s kitchens.  It seems like GE appliances may everyday routines amazingly simple it’s next generation features. Brilliant touches that answer real-life needs.  This is definitely something you should want in  your kitchen.  Here are a few things that stood out to me.

GE – Cooking

I don’t know about you guys, but I love to cook!  When I have a big dinner going, I’m using every burner on the range. What I love about the GE range it features  Edge-to-edge cooktop which is a large cooking surface gives you extra room for pots and pans of all sizes and lets cookware move easily from burner to burner.  I didn’t know how important it was to have a burner move from burner to bunker easily until I had a not do that and spill, trust me, it’s the worst.

Another thing I love is the extra-large, integrated reversible cast iron grill/griddle.  Now I LOVE to cook on a griddle/Grill top.  We have a portable electric one I use to cook pancakes for the boys, heat tortillas on taco night and then I would flip it to the grill portion an cook about any kind of chopped meat you can imagine.  This feature for me is an absolute MUST have and will definitely be in our new kitchen!  I can’t say enough great things about it and I know I will get a TON of use out of it.   Did you know you can grill up to 6 grilled cheese at on time…just in case you needed 6 grilled cheese haha.

GE – Refrigeration

Chill and brew with this GE Profile Series refrigerator. It has a built-in Keurig K-Cup brewing system for making single-serving hot beverages on the spot…yes, you heard me, your refrigerator makes Coffee!!  Let me say that again…your refrigerator makes COFFEE!!   I just thought you may have needed a moment for that to land.  With the built-in Keurig K-Cup brewing system you can schedule hot water anytime via the GE Kitchen app.
